Job description

  • Sales Volume & Value Achievement: - To ensure that the sales team achieve their profitable target in HORECA channel and Sup channel:

Hotels, Catering, Ship chandler, Fine Restaurants & Cafes, Cafeteria and QSR’s

  • Distribution & Coverage: - Manage the team of sales supervisors and work closely with them to ensure that all HORECA routes are covered aggressively and that the sales supervisors understand the sales plans for their particular areas. Monitor the same through constant market visit. Also to visit the key outlets on a regular basis to ensure the proper distribution. Responsible for enhancing the distribution of sales network of company products.
  • Customer Service: - Ensure that the sales team working under me provides regular frequency of service & Handling all customers and/or consumer complaint promptly & efficiently.
  • Training: - Conduct on the job training along with the sales supervisors in order to ensure that sales, distribution and collection objectives are being achieved. Prepare action plan to improve the market situation through setting goals, follow up dates & provide feedback.
  • People Management: - Handling different nationalities manpower, hiring & firing those who do not perform consistently as per company standard, ensuring smooth vacation plan so that operations are not affected.
  • Market Feedback: - Keeping top management informed about all activities about the competitors as well as suggesting many promotional ideas to counter the same.
  • Motivation: - To maintain & enhance the self-esteem of the sales person.

DAILY TASK PERFORMANCE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING: -

  • Daily sales review for each supervisors and meeting them in the morning,
  • Everyday ensuring and helping sales team to ensure that all the vehicles are out for delivery,
  • Daily monitoring of invoices and settlements which needs to be entered in the system.
  • Reviewing the daily stock report and suggest order which we need.
  • Visiting important customers along with supervisors to negotiate better agreement and to improve business,
  • Updating the previous day’s performance to RM along with the issues and its suggestive remedies.
  • Mostly doing market visit with Supervisors but sometime with salesman as well to give them on the job training,
  • Daily follow up of collection particularly the problematic accounts with supervisors.
  • Ensure that all route trucks and Sales Supervisors vehicles are maintained and serviced.
