Primary Responsibility :

To ensure a smoother run of the production both reliably and efficiently, whilst meeting the given timelines of customers and upholding quality & safety standards.


Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparing monthly production planning and materials resource planning

Planning and organizing production schedules from Monthly production plan (manpower, materials)

Overseeing production process and improve processes and eliminate bottle neck to achieve targets.

Plan production meetings, worker schedules, production activities, machine maintenance plans and maintain product quality.

Monitor monthly production numbers with budgeted qty.

Develop strategies to increase productivity and production

Optimize productive time for employees by eliminating unnecessary wastage.

Work towards achieving departmental Objectives. (Productivity, OEE standards, Control of BOM variances, Manpower variances, Cost control)

Report and track S&S / R&M expenses to reduce costs.

Coordinate with maintenance supervisor, timely preventive maintenance and Breakdown maintenance to ensure maximum machine uptime. Also closely work with Maintenance ensuring PM and optimum asset utilization and eliminate bottleneck in the process.

Work with contract customers on matters concerned to their product starting from release to final shipment

Ensuring that factory machinery is in good working order.

Responsible for department annual budget development and cost control within budget.

Ensure adherence to GMP meeting maintain health & safety and hygiene standards.

Target accident-free workplace.

Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements and develops justifications for capital investment.

Support NPD for product and process launch.

Manage with the project team all capital equipment installations, and lead the commissioning of new, improvements or expansion projects.

Drive a culture of continuous improvement, supervising and motivating a team of workers.

Reviewing worker performance, identifying training needs for skills development.
